Macbe Cafe Restaurant, designed by Picco Architecture, is an example of Antalya architecture whose project was completed in 2018. The project, which comes before us as a restaurant design, is at the top of the modern designs.
The color tones used in the restaurant are mostly dark red, burgundy, brown and white. Considering the appetite that red and brown create in the human body, white performs its duties correctly to add life to the environment and increase the spaciousness inside.
The awnings and chairs that we see at the entrance of the restaurant, designed for the open air, are designed for customers to eat comfortably without staying indoors on the hot summer day of Antalya.
The color harmony of the logo and materials used attracts attention at first glance. Another feature of the design, in which harmony, fresh air and comfort are exhibited at a high level, presents a modern image. Symmetrical and smooth prisms used in today’s modern life adorn the interior. When we look inside, the iron bars extending from top to bottom keep up with the lighting and the general image with their black color. In the restaurant, where the American-style bar is used, a quieter place is created in the section separated by the library, in the section next to the bar, allowing guests to find a place to talk about important issues.
Spotlights and chandeliers with sharp corners used in lighting create the perfect balance of light inside. In the restaurant, which gives the message that it serves with nature, the plants in fixed pots on the wall, which are placed under the lights, attract attention.
The intensive use of glass on the walls facing the outside allows the guests to share in the social life outside. At the same time, these windows allow sunlight to enter in the morning, thus saving the amount of electricity used.
The well-used spaces in the restaurant established on an area of 200m2 create the ideal distance between guests. The glass walls that help the spaces inside aim to preserve the fresh air inside.
While making the guests feel that they are in the restaurant with the recipes used on the walls, they also provide information. The designs on the wall, supported by the portraits used, are designed in a heartwarming way. The restaurant, which has the characteristics of an interior architect in Antalya in general, and designed with the harmony of brown tones used inside with white and black, is waiting for the project to be realized.
